On Feb. 18, 2022, Decom North was officially launched in Eemshaven!
Decom North coordinates the dismantling of obsolete wind turbines in such a way that as many of the residual products as possible are processed in a circular manner.
In the process, there is an ongoing search for industries that can make use of the resulting new recycled raw materials.
Nedcam is also associated with this cluster in this regard.
Wind turbine blades are mostly made of composites (thermosets) The new basic raw materials created by mechanical and chemical processing of composites (CRC method) are the basis for us to manufacture new products such as plugs and molds as well as 3D printing.
