On Wednesday 13 September, we had a nice delegation visit including Minister Liesje Schreinemacher, the deputy of Friesland Friso Douwstra and councilor of Heerenveen Hedwich Rinkes.
The visit took place under the theme of sustainability and digitalisation in the manufacturing industry. After a short introduction to Nedcam, we toured our company. Naturally, we demonstrated our new XXL 3D printer and the delagation saw our CNC milling machines in action. The minister was impressed by the size of our moulds and the steps we have taken and will take in making our production process more sustainable.
We very much appreciated the visit and the interest. It is a confirmation that it is getting noticed that in the North we are ahead in sustainability in the manufacturing industry in relation to large exports to our neighbouring countries. We thank the NOM, Ynbusiness and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the organisation and the visit.
