The ambition and clout to grow further, innovate and digitise are greater than ever. The Head of Finance plays a key role in achieving this ambition.
About Nedcam
Nedcam makes specialised tooling for the composite and metal industry. This tooling is used by yacht builders and wind turbine manufacturers, among others, when making serial end products. Nedcam was formed in 2017 from a merger of two successful companies. The two entrepreneurs have since formed the management together. With the acquisition of Nedcam’s German branch partner, turnover grew to 15 million euros and the organisation now has over 100 FTEs.
Market leader Nedcam is considered one of the most progressive companies in its segment. The innovative company is known for its constant development and progressiveness, and has a leading position in the field of circularity. Recently, Nedcam was a finalist in the election of Frisian Enterprise of the Year; a recognition of its impressive growth and pioneering contribution to the industry.
However, the potential is far from being fully exploited, quite the contrary. In the coming years, Nedcam wants to work in close cooperation with several leading companies and knowledge institutions towards a fully circular proposition.
Vacancy: Head of Finance
The Head of Finance is ultimately responsible for an independent finance team (4 FTE) divided between the offices in Heerenveen and Rhede (Germany). She/he acts as a sounding board and link between Finance and other departments such as Sales, Work Preparation, Production and Logistics. Together with these departments, the Head of Finance develops a data-driven growth strategy for Nedcam in which profitable, organic growth is central. In doing so, the Head of Finance focuses on the optimal use of automation and digitalisation so that Nedcam can operate even more professionally, efficiently and data-driven. As a member of the Executive Board, the Head of Finance is an important sparring partner for the other board members and managers in the organisation.
Nedcam’s ambition is to accelerate the digitalisation of the company, especially in the areas of financial administration and project management. Further integration and development of digital processes, systems and software are a key focus point for the Head of Finance. This also applies to the integration of the German financial administration and systems acquired in 2023, for which she/he is also responsible.
